Google is finally bringing the Pixel 4A in India. The news has been shared by Google via its Official Twitter handle today. Google took on twitter and announced that the Pixel 4a will arrive in India on October 17 and will go on sale via Flipkart. The Pixel 4a is arriving in India after a period of almost two months from its global launch.
The Pixel 4A was originally set to launch at the Google I/O but it event was called off because of the Corona Virus pandemic and was finally launched on August 20. At that event beside the launch of Pixel 4A, Google also confirmed two upcoming devices - Pixel 4A 5G and Pixel 5, which Google unveiled yesterday.

It is also worth mentioning that the Pixel 4a is the only device that will making its way to India this year. The Pixel 4 didn't came to India because of the Soli Radar motion sensor and at the launch of the Pixel 4A Google said that neither the Pixel 4A nor the Pixel 5 would be coming to India, probably because 5G is not a thing in India , atleast in the near future. Beside this it is also a fact that the Pixels didn't performed well India because of the higher price tag that it came with.
Pixel 4A Specifications -
The Pixel 4A has a 5.81" FHD+ OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 443ppi pixel density along with HDR support. The display also comes with AOD feature i.e. Always On Display. The Pixel 4A is also the first Pixel smartphone to feature a punch-hole display. Beside this the Pixel 4A has a polycarbonate body and is available in a single color option - Just Black.
The Pixel 4A is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC and will be coming with 6GB RAM on-board along with 128GB internal storage. Talking of the cameras the Pixel 4A features a 12MP single camera on the back with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). For the selfie purpose it features a 8MP shooter.
The Pixel 4A is fueled by the 3140mAh battery along with a 18W fast charger. The Pixel 4A is 8.2mm thick and is very light weighing just 143grams.
The Pixel 4A was a launched at a price tag of $349 which roughly translates to INR 26,000, so we can expect it to be priced less than less than INR 30,000.
