Realme has launched Realme 7 Pro, the successor to the Realme 6 Pro, yesterday along side the Realme 7. While Realme 7 Pro inherits some specs from its predecessor, there are some improvements too in many segments which combined makes it a decent upgrade over the Realme 6 Pro.

Before we dive into the details here are some the highlights of the Realme 7 Pro -
  • 6.5" FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole.
  • 64 MP Quad camera system on the back with Sony IMX 682 sensor
  • 65 Watts Super Dart charger right in-the-box.
  • Snapdragon 720G SoC
Design and Display

The Realme 7 Pro has a dual tone finish on the back, just like the Realme 7, with a glossy mirror finish. The cameras are placed in the rectangular module on the top left corner which also houses the LED flash. On the lower end we get the Realme branding.

On the front we have a 6.4" FHD+ beautiful AMOLED Display with a punch-hole in it at the top left corner. The new AMOLED Display is both an upgrade and a downgrade as compared to the Realme 6 Pro. The upgrade is the AMOLED panel in place of the LCD one, while the downgrade is that it is a standard 60Hz one in contrast to the 90Hz on the Realme 6 Pro. Since it is an AMOLED display we also get an in-display fingerprint scanner and it works very fast.

Another improvement is on the audio front. The Realme 7 Pro now features stereo speakers, one on the bottom of the device while the other is in the earpiece. Other than that it features a Type-C port, 3.5 mm jack on the bottom and there is a secondary mic on the top of it. The device is 8.7 mm thick and weights 182 grams.

Cameras

Talking of the cameras they are the same as the ones found on the Realme 7. It comprises of a 64 MP f/1.8 Sony IMX 682 primary sensor, 8 MP f/2.3 ultra wide angle lens with 119 degree FoV, 2 MP f/2.4 portrait lens and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro lens. We can expect better images as compared to the Realme 6 Pro as this one has a better Sony sensor  rather than the Samsung one. There are also couple of features like the UIS steady mode, Nightscape and Pro mode. You can also shoot videos upto 4K at 30 FPS.

On the front we get a 32 MP selfie shooter sitting inside the punch-hole which should deliver some decent selfies.

Under the Hood

The Realme 7 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC which is based on 8 nm process. The CPU s clocked at 2.3GHz and is coupled with Adreno 618 GPU. The Snapdragon 720G is a really powerful as well as very efficient processor which will drive through most of the tasks very smoothly.
