The OnePlus Nord was surely the most anticipated phone of the year 2020 with OnePlus going back to it roots, offering premium phones at an affordable price or say not-so-premium price. The OnePlus Nord isn't a flagship device but is more focused on the mid-range category. While the device was well received by the people it had some cons like the camera quality, which didn't met the expectations.
Along with the OnePlus Nord the company promised more devices under the Nord Series. And now there are leaks that suggests that new OnePlus Nord devices are going to launch as early as September, while any official announcement has't been made, there have been reports about new OnePlus devices in the last few days. According to a leak OnePlus is workinhg on two affordable smartphones which will be launched by the end of September.
According to the leaks one of the devices will be powered by Snapdragon 6xx series SoC which could be 662 or 665 or 690 and is expected to launch around INR 16,000 - 18,000. We can expect to see a high refresh rate OLED panel as OnePlus has said that from now onwards all it's smartphones will have a higher refresh rate display panel. The reports also suggests that OnePlus is working on another smartphone which will be powered by the Snapdragon 490 and will be priced lower than the other one, which in-turn will make it the cheapest OnePlus phone.
If this turns true then OnePlus has to needs to make space for it against the already established champions Xiaomi and Realme. It would be great to see OnePlus coming under the sub-20 K category.
