Qualcomm's next flagship SoC, probably Snapdragon 875, will be made by Samsung. According to reports Samsung has won all the orders to make Qualcomm's flagship processor defeating TSMC. Samsung has won the bid against TSMC by offering lower price to make the processors. 

Samsung - TECHTICAL

The deal between the Korean giant and mobile processor king is said to be worth $850 Millions. This is the first time Samsung has won all the orders of Qualcomm's flagship processor. The Snapdragon 875 is expected to release around this December and we can expect flagships powered by the SoC by the first quarter of 2021. According to reports chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is expected to bring the first flagship running on Snapdragon 875 in the beginning of 2021.

The next gen flagship SoC from Qualcomm will be manufactured on 5 nm  EUV process. Samsung will soon begin the manufacturing process at Hwaseong, South Korea. And as Samsung will be making processor for Qualcomm it may also appear in more in the Galaxy S21 Series. 


Currently Samsung is at second position right behind TSMC in the world of mobile processor manufacturing and it is expecting to become the world leader by the year 2030, toppling over TSMC.
