After launching Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro in India Realme has unveiled Realme 6i in Myanmar. The Realme 6i will be the successor to Realme 5i and unlike the Realme 6 and 6 Pro it doesn't feature punch-hole camera or high refresh rate screen, rather it is quite similar to the Realme 5i.

The Realme 5i highlights are -

  • It is world's first smartphone with Mediatek Helio G80 SoC.
  • 48 MP quad cameras.
  • 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charger.

Starting off with the display, the Realme 6i doesn't follow the trend of Realme 6 and 6 Pro and has got a 6.5" HD+ display with a mini-drop notch. The display also doesn't have the higher refresh rates and is a regular 60Hz ones. It comes in two color options- Milk White and Green Tea.

The Realme 6i is the world's first smartphone to come with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC on-board which is a 12nm processor. Going by the previous performance of the other Helio G-series chipset like the G90T on Redmi Note 8 Pro and G70 on Realme C3 we can expect top-notch performance by Realme 6i.

On the optics front there is quad camera setup which includes a 48MP primary lens, a 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. There selfie camera is a 16MP one which sits in the notch on the front.

There is a 5000mAh battery on the Realme 6i along with a 18W fast charger bundled with the device. While the charger isn't the fastest but it should be decently fast. On the software front it is Realme UI on the top of Android 10.

The Realme 6i is priced at KS 2,49,900 (roughly INR 13K) for the 3+64 GB variant while the 4+128 GB variant is priced at KS 2,99,900 (around INR 17K).
