The most awaited Samsung Unpacked Event 2020 is finally here and this year we got to see some major upgrades over Samsung's last year's flagship devices, S10 series and the Galaxy Fold. Samsung showed off it's next generation devices namely the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, tha Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Earbuds Plus.

Galaxy Z Flip

The Galaxy Z Flip is the next generation foldable smartphone from Samsung which succeeds the Galaxy Fold. The Z Flip is completely different from the Galaxy Fold and is analogous to Moto Razr. When unfolded it has a 6.7" infinity flex display inside. It is quite interesting to note that the display is completely glass which is folds!!

The Z Flip can hold its position at various angles and it screen can acts as two different for two different apps or one half can act as a viewing area and the other as interactive area as shown in image.

There is one more highlight of the Z Flip, there is a small notification display on the outer side of the device near the camera which shows the notifications.

Galaxy S20 Series

There is one more highlight of the Z Flip, there is a small notification display on the outer side of the device near the camera which shows the notifications.

The S20 Ultra packs in a 108MP main sensor and has a ability to zoom upto 100 times, which the company calls 'Space Zoom', that's really insane. While the other, two S20 and S20+ have a 64MP primary shooter and has upto 30x zooming ability. The S20 lineup's camera is also capable of shooting 8K videos and as the brand shows you can directly capture a 33MP image from the video.

Along with this all the three devices are 5G enabled which they showed off at the event.

Talking about the design and display, all of them have the centre punch-hole display design which they inherit from the Note 10. The display here is the 120 Hz QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED which is too gorgeous.

You can get upto 12 GB of RAM on the non-ultra ones while there is upto 16 GB RAM variant of the S20 Ultra.

Galaxy Buds Plus

Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Buds Plus which is a good upgrade over the Galaxy Buds.

The Galaxy Buds Plus packs in dual speakers for better sound quality and it works well. Plus there are two microphones on the outside with one on the inside for noise reduction. The Galaxy Buds Plus can give upto 11 hours of battery backup and that doubles up to 22 hrs with the case. That sounds really nice!

There is also tap based gestures which is really handy, you can single tap to play or pause the music, double tap to play next song or to answer/end calls, triple tap for the previous song and hold it for user customized action.
